Costume Designer | Character Designer | Fashion Illustrator

About Me
I'm a costume designer and technician, character designer, and fashion illustrator based in Colorado, USA. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Denver, and a partial Bachelor's of Arts in Theater Technology and Design with a concentration in Costuming from Colorado State University. I am particularly inspired by avant garde fashion and fantasy media as well as performance genres like burlesque, cabaret, and drag.
Though I've had a bit of an unusual career journey, art and fashion have always been my passions. I love creating things, problem solving, and working with my hands, and I think the way we choose to dress and present ourselves is unbelievably important. It's our first and sometimes only foot forward, after all!
I've had a passion for fashion and costumes since I was little, and after pursuing and completing a science degree, I found out that the career I'd chosen wasn't actually for me. I completely changed directions and went back to school for costuming. Though I'd been sewing for fun most of my life, I had no real formal training or instruction. I was largely self taught. Armed with the knowledge my wonderful professors at CSU gave me, I've been designing for different theatre companies and universities in Northern Colorado since 2024.
